As long as I can recall (and I'm 45 years old), people have been coming to Charleston Lake and jumping off the top of Indian Head, called so I'm guessing because it resembles an aboriginal male head. It takes quite a hike to get up to the top and when you get there, your faced with a 75 foot jump to the bottom. It has been a rite of passage for many including myself, but some people have been careless and have died jumping from the cliff. Now I'm not encouraging anybody to jump, but if you're on the lake, take a spin by and check out the cliff and the "Indian Head".
Cheers
