It is presumed that the “D” in the center of this quilt stands for the household name while surrounding initials perhaps belong to family members. This original quilt block is on the east side of the barn on the south side of E-57 near Rippey. While not on the official Greene County barn quilt map, it can be easily found down the road from the farm with Grandmother’s Choice and Dove in the Window barn quilts.
