EN: Former Lowit's Watermill (earlier Large Waterill) stands next to Rokytka brook between Elsnic Square and Thomayer Orchard. This baroque monument was built in 1747. Today the building bears the name of Jachym Lowit who bought it in 1883 and changed it to a bakery. During communist era the mill fell into disrepair while it was used as a potato and then theater set-pieces storage. The mill was reconstructed by Prague 8 in 2001. Unfortunately the building was damaged by flood in 2002 and it is unused untill now.
Current Status: Still In Use
Current Use: Awaiting future use - probably a restaurant
