Centrepiece is a steel sculpture done by Peter Hide in 1990. It was added to the gallery as a gift from Peter Hide himself in 2008.
Peter Hide is a well known english steel sculpter who lives in Edmonton. The idea behind this piece is that it represents a person standing in a constrapposto position.
The sculpture is located outside the Hamilton Gallery of Art in the Irving Zucker Sculpture Court.
