Baron František Trenck byl voják. Významný velitel za prusko-rakouských válek. Velel tzv. pandurum, obávané jednotce vrahu, zlodeju a dobrodruhu všeho druhu. Vítezili casto, protože umeli bojovat ze zálohy. Také však mysleli, že mohou všechno. On sám dokonce jednou urazit císarovnu, což si Marie Terezie nenechala líbit a Trenck, zásluhy nezásluhy, se ocitl na Špilberku. Ocitl se v kopce s malým okénkem, zimou a vlhkostí. Tady také i zemrel. Dnes jeho ostatky lze videt v podzemí kláštera kapucínu (kam ukazují úvodní souradnice).
A ted ta ducharská cást. Jeho duch prý léta chodíval po chodbe pred svou bývalou celou, jako by na neco vzpomínal. Navštívit (tedy pokud jeho duch už nezmizel) ho mužete u waymarku WM6Z72 (http://www.waymarking.com/waymarks/WM6Z72_Spilberk_prison_Brno_Czech_Republic_EU).
Zajímavejší však je, že se prý každorocne o svátku Všech svatých u jeho rakve dole u kapucínu objevuje zahalená ženská postava, která se pak do svítání modlí u jeho nohou a ráno mizí, aby se objevila opet za rok. Bohužel toto asi neoveríme, nebot do krypty se v nocních hodinách jakožto návštevníci nemáme šanci dostat. Na rozdíl od bloudícího ducha Trencka, však nikde není zmínka, že by duch navždy zmizel, stále tedy "ducharská" šance je ;-)

About Baron Treck you can read more here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baron_Franz_von_der_Trenck), but most important think about him is that he was imprisoned in former Špilberk castle prison and his mummified remains can presently be seen on display in the crypt of Brno's Capuchin Monastery (where are coordinates of this waymark).
And the ghost part?
It is said that his ghost walked for years through the hallway, where his cell can be found today. Maybe he trying to remember something. If you want to visit his prison (and if you hope, that his ghost can be still there), you can do that at waymark WM6Z72 (http://www.waymarking.com/waymarks/WM6Z72_Spilberk_prison_Brno_Czech_Republic_EU).
More interesting is second part of ghost story. It is said that every year during the Feast of All Saints appears veiled female just next Trencks coffin down at the Capuchin tomb, who prayers at his feet during whole night up to the morning and with first sun ray disappear to appear again next year. Unfortunately the crypt is closed at night, so visitors have no chance to verify this story. But unlike the wandering spirit of Trenck, there is chance that the mysterious woman didn't disappear forever and there is still chance to see her ;-)
