Quick Description: Lake District Ski Club have a club hut and POMA tow on the side of Raise fell in the English Lake District. A daily picture is uploaded to Flickr for all to see how much snow there is or not. Looking south west. GMT time zone.

There used to a simple rope drag tow and wooden hut to which enthusiasts walked from Greenside mine area, carrying their skis. Keen skiers still walk carrying their skis, but now there is an improved hut and tow. Lake District Ski Club
