This museum is located in downtown Welland. The building the museum is in itself is a piece of Welland history, being the former town library and a Carnegie library. The museum has many pieces including history from the Welland Canal, local sports, local military heroes, railway history and local art.
There are also a variety of exhibits that happen on a yearly basis. The gift shop is filled with a variety of hand made items.
The museum is undergoing renovations and is due to open May 15th, 2012.
