Plan on spending at least three hours in The Newseum. Visitors will start off with an Orientation Film explaining the layout of The Newseum. Some visitors might be lucky enough to have a one-hour guided tour provided by museum volunteers.

The web site has a two-hour tour which will cover some of the same highlights but it will give you more flexibility to stop and explore different sections that interest visitors.

Some of the highlights include an FBI display (with Ted Kaczynski's shack) , a 9/11 display (including one of the communications antennas from the top of one of the towers), and a terrace that overlooks the Capitol Building.
