All of those switchbacks can be tiring! This long distance hiking trail takes you to the town of Supai then to 3 waterfalls before it ends at the Colorado River.

The trail head is at the posted coordinates. From here you will descend about 2000 feet for 2 miles into a dry creek bed. You will hike from here for about 6 miles before you make it to the village of Supai. From Supai it is another 4 miles to the campgrounds. After the campgrounds if you go another 6 miles you have reached the Colorado River. Altogether this hike it 34 miles round trip. If you want to make it shorter you can take a mule for $50 or take a helicopter for $85. Mules leave here and can't go any further than the campground at mile 11. The helicopter leaves here and lands at the Supai village around mile 8.
