One of many very well preserved and maintained historical buildings in Yackandandah, this timber construction was completed about 1890, and part of it, to the left of the newsagency in the photo, has been used continually as a chemist shop since. It still sports the original timber shop fittings and counter.
There is a large '2006' on the right front of the building, but I can't identify it's purpose, as the building definitely wasn't built in 2006 and the street number is 24. Pity, I would have posted a waymark for Dated Buildings and Cornerstones if it was kosher.
