The mosaic was created by UNF Art and Design Associate Professor Nofa Dixon and the students in her Mosaic Project class. The mosaic was installed on one of the 24-foot tall columns in Alumni Square to help beautify some of the architectural columns on campus.
The mosaic features more than 16,000 tiles and depicts an abstract night scene on the campus as a representation UNF's connection with nature.
