This hike will take you 2 miles down hill through switch backs into the Grand Canyon, then 4.5 miles on a dry river bed into the small village of Supai. Once you go another 2 miles, you will reach Havasu Falls and one more mile you will reach Mooney Falls. There is a campsite at mile 8. There are only two places you can refill your water. At mile 8 and mile 6.5 so bring lots of water. It took me 15 hours to hike to Mooney falls and back. The above coordinates are for the trail head. On the way down for the first two miles you have amazing views of the Grand Canyon. There are four virtual caches along this trail. On a geocaching terrain rating I would rate this as a 4 to a 4.5.
