'Perseus' with the head of Medusa was first exhibited in 1898. The life size bronze sculpture is on permanent display in the National Museum of Wales, Cardiff.

This 82 inch tall bronze sculpture of Pereus with the head of Medusa, by Frederick William Pomeroy (1857-1924) is located on the first landing of the main staircase in the National Museum Cardiff.

The museum visiting hours are:- Open 10am–5pm Tuesday–Sunday (Galleries close at 4:45pm, entry is free, as are all museums in Wales.

"Perseus was gifted to the museum in 1927 by C.Elmer Southwell."
