This building is known as the Wade Building. There is a stone plate at the center parapet wall which reads "WADE 1908". This is a two-story brick building, constructed in the Commercial/Late Victorian style.
The second floor has eight single windows, two over each storefront. A belt course of sailor bricks forms the window sills, and individual arched lintels are formed with two rows of sailor bricks. During a remodel in 1986, the windows were altered and now have a single fixed pane of glass. The upper parapet wall has a decorative band formed by a row of header bricks, two rows of sailor, three rows of stretcher bricks, and a second row of header bricks.
The ground floor has four storefronts. Each entry has a large stilted arch formed by three rows of sailor bricks. Under each arch are large cloth awnings. The effect is that of an arcade. Three of the storefronts are identical, with a centered single aluminum and glass entry door flanked by display windows that have brick lug sills and brick kick plates. The fourth storefront on the south has a single entry door to the north, a centered display window, and a single door on the right which leads to the upper floor.
203 is occupied by Dan's Barber Shop; 205 is Brash & Sassy beauty salon, and 207-209 is a children's clothing store called Hip Kids.
