There are two redwoods on the fast corner of the A592 road as it passes Fell Foot Park. Both are best viewed from the outside of the bend although they are both in the National Trust park.

These two redwoods are listed together as viewing them can be done at the same time. Although they are separate, about 100 metres apart. They are nearly same diameter and height. The northern one can be seen from inside the park but the southern one is obscured by trees.
The southern one is at N 54 16.372 W 02 57.152 and the northern one is at N 54 16.389 W 02 57.127
Originally there was a fine country house until the early 1900s, lived in by the Ridehalghs. They had no children, and were probably responsible for the gardens being laid out with exotic trees. WM36J8 (
