Der Erste Weltkrieg brachte es mit sich, dass auch viele Völser ins Feld ziehen mußten. 1920 erfolgte die Grundsteinlegung des Kriegerdenkmals in Erinnerung an die Gefallenen.
Es befindet sich an der Nordseite des Friedhofs, nur wenig westlich der alten Pfarrkirche.

The First World War brought with it that many Völser had to take the field. In 1920 the foundation stone of the war memorial took place in memory of the fallen.
It is located on the north side of the cemetery, just a little west of the old parish church.
