Long Description:
These five columns are part of an art piece that honor five ice skaters from the Bay Area who achieved Olympic greatness. The five 20-foot tall columns are covered with one-inch square mosaic tiles of black, white and gray. Each column features a photographic image is the five San Jose area champions. The skaters represented are are Peggy Fleming, Debbi Thomas, Brian Boitano, Kristy Yamaguchi, and Rudy Galindo.
