This Nautical Flagpole is sited
alongside Faversham Creek, Kent, and is the property of the Faversham Unit of
the Sea Cadet Corp - T.S. Hazard. The building behind the flagpole was built in
1475 as a Town warehouse alongside Faversham Creek. The 'Hazard' was the name of
a ship supplied by Faversham under the Cinque Ports Charter to sail against the
Spanish Armada in 1588.
