Apparently this building, built about 1877 had an association with or was built by Frank Jones who operated a brewery in Portsmouth, the largest business at the time.
There are businesses on the ground floor, but as far as can be determined, the upper floors are still in use by the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs as a meeting hall.
