The anchor is preserved and painted black and white. It rests on the paving and gravel by the entrance steps and door to the lighthouse. This lighthouse was made redundant when the nuclear power plant was built as it was no longer seen from all around. Today it is open to visitors and a new lighthouse serves its purpose nearby.
