Dogtown Boat Ramp in located south of Evansville, IN in rural Vanderburgh County. It is in the area of the county informally known as Dogtown. It is on Old Henderson Rd south of Bayou Creek Rd. The ramp is for boaters launching into the Ohio River near Dutch Island.
There is not much in the area of this ramp. There are 2 big parking areas, giving plenty of space for visitors. But other than that, there is not any frills. There is no local marina, no food, no gas, no nothing within about 5 miles.
No evidence of the lauch fees on site were found. Good effort was put forth to find the information online as well with no luck.
