Long Description:
From the Memorials Website:

Jerrod Bruce Fadden went on his final snow run and passed on, on Sunday, November 6, 2005. He was 23 years old.

He was born in Bellingham on December 22, 1981 and resided in Everson. Born to Rod & Lea Ann Fadden (Heidingsfelder) of Sumas, he was known as “Bird” to all who were close to him. He graduated from Nooksack High School & achieved his civil engineering degree from Bellingham Technical College. He loved his job and co-workers at Reichhardt & Ebe Engineering in Lynden and enjoyed volunteering in his community. Jerrod was passionate about everything, and especially loved the outdoors. Snowboarding was his first love, followed by motorcycles, fishing and being on the water, including the annual Polar Bear swim. He was the life of the party and known for his back-flips and crazy stunts.

He was met at Heaven’s gate by uncles Jim & Jeff and aunt Marla Heidingsfelder and grandfather Bruce Fadden and is survived by parents Rod & Lea Ann, brother Nathan, sister-in-law Kate, sister Marla, close family friend Ben Potocnik, grandparents Jim & Olive Heidingsfelder and Josephine Fadden and numerous aunts, uncles & cousins.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, November 12, at 11:00 a.m. in Christ the King Church in Bellingham.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jerrod’s honor to the Mt. Baker Ski Patrol or the Everson Volunteer Fire Department.

As Jerrod touched so many lives and will be deeply missed by all. As Jerrod would say, “The green mountains and blue waters hold eternal wisdom.”

The plaque reads:

This Structure was constructed in the loving memory of JERROD BRUCE FADDEN through the donations of his family, friends and community.
