The Turpin Grain Elevator was built in 1925 following arrival of the Beaver, Meade, and Englewood Railroad to the area. The elevator is a woodframe elevator with corrugated metal sheathing. The elevator was built and operated by the Light Grain and Milling Company. The elevator remained in operations until the late 1960s.

The elevator is in pretty rough conditions but the 100's of pigeons that are roosting in it now seem to like it that way.

Currently used as a grain elevator: no
