Army Spc. Gregory A. Cox - Carmichaels, Pennsylvania
This memorial was dedicated in 2004 shortly after he became a casualty in Operation Iraqi Freedom when his vehicle was overturned by a incident involving civilians.
Cox was a resident of the nearby community of Carmichaels,and was a graduate of Geibel Catholic HS in Connellsville, Fayette County. He was 21 when he died and he was the first casualty from Greene County, Pennsylvania of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
