This former home sits in middle of a forest on the River and Ruin Side Trail (a part of the Bruce Trail). The "history" is that the house used to be owned by a local business man that owned a mill farther down the creek. It was sold to another group and had a fire that destroyed the building.
From the ruins you can tell it was a two store building (there are reminants of stairs), it had a fire place and possibly a basement. There aren't any roads leading to the ruins, only trails and the area is open to the public.
