DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1935 (CIA)
POINT OBSERVED UPON WAS THE FINIAL OF THE SILVER (NOW WHITE) MUNICIPAL
WATER TANK IN LAVERNE, LOCATED IN THE EAST SIDE OF TOWN,
300 FEET NORTHWEST OF DEPOT, 250 FEET NORTH OF MAIN STREET,
ON SOUTH SIDE OF THE MUNICIPAL POWER AND LIGHT PLANT. TANK
IS APPROXIMATELY 100 FEET HIGH.
