Known as the "Queen City," Manchester is New Hampshire's largest city, with a population just over 100,000. It's namesake in England is about 25 times larger with a population of over 2.5 million.

VManchester, named for Manchester, England, is located on the Merrimack River which provided power to many industries including the largest textile mill in the world. It is also gateway to northern New England, and also to Boston, just an hour south.

The coordinates for this waymark are taken near the Amoskeag Bridge at this welcome sign.
