Three flagpoles are at the front of the memorial: POW/MIA, the U.S. Flag, and the Missouri State Flag.
This Memorial includes an amazing eagle atop the central pillar with five sides.
Sentinel of Freedom - Department of the Army seal - "To be prepared for war is one of the most effectual means of preserving peace" - George Washington - Donated by the Welborn Family
In Memory of SGT William L. Rosanbalm, 1st MARDIV - Department of the Air Force seal - "That this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom, and that government of the people, by the people, and for the people shall not perish from the earth" - Abraham Lincoln - Donated by Pleasant Hill Chamber of Commerce
In Memory of PFC Rosanbalm, U.S. Army - United States Coast Guard seal - "We will not waver: we will not falter; and we will not fail. Peace and freedom will prevail." - George W. Bush - Donated by Aries Power Plant
In Memory of FB2 Vernon B. Hart, U.S. Navy - Department of the Navy United States Marine Corps seal - "And so, my fellow Americans ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." John F. Kennedy - Donated by Arthur and Mary Ann Goodell

The Memorial is bordered by Locust Street on the North, and Veterans Parkway on the West, and E. Commercial Street on the S.E. These streets form a triangle around the memorial.
There is a towed artillery piece and seven memorial benches at this location also.
