The telescope is located in the south east corner of the roof of the Leas Cliff Hall in Folkestone. Roof may give a vision of a high perch but the hall is cut into the cliffs and the roof is accessed by climbing half a dozen steps from the promenade. The telescope costs 20p to use and gives views along the coast of Kent and, on a clear day, the coast of France on the other side of the English Channel.
