At the reunification palace two Vietnamese tanks are on display here. According to the signs this were the first tanks to enter the palace compounds. This one has the factorynumber 5903E019, probably a Soviet built T-54. Tactical number painted on the turret is ''843'' but it could be that it is not the original turret number. Since there is also a ''843'' preserved in a museum in Hanoi. According to the signs this tank was the first to enter the premises of the palace. But which ''843''...?
