Brendlkar, Überreste eines abgestürzten Flugzeuges
Überreste eines abgestürzten Flugzeuges im Brendlkar. Eine Tafel verrät, daß es sich um die Reste eines US-amerikanischen Bombers vom Typ "B-24 Liberator" handelt, der hier am 3.8.1944 nach deutschem Beschuß abgestürzt ist. Von zehn Mann Besatzung kamen zwei ums Leben, die weiteren gerieten in Gefangenschaft.

Brendlkar, remains of a downed aircraft
Remains of a crashed aircraft in Brendlkar. A plaque tells that it is the remains of a U.S. bomber of the type "B-24 Liberator" is that crashed here on 03/08/1944 under German bombardment. By ten-man crew, two died, the other men were captured.
