American musician and band leader Louis Prima, was a famous in the Big Band era starting in 1939 until the mid 1970's. He wrote and or composed many famous songs of the era, including "Just a Gigolo"/"I Ain't Got Nobody", "I Wanna Be Like You" "Sing, Sing, Sing" and "Jump, Jive and Wail". He died in 1978 from a brain stem tumor.
On the door of the tomb reads the lyrics to one of his songs..."When the end comes, I know, they'll all say 'just a gigolo' as life goes on without me. Lovingly, your little family..."
The Gabriel trumpeter statue was sculpted in 1997 by Russian-born sculptor Alexei Kazantsev.
