According to Mister Ed's Website (visit link) his love for elephant memorabilia started after receiving an elephant as a good luck wedding gift. From there, his collection has grown to over 10,000 pieces - now housed in a combination museum/gift shop/candy store. It is an interesting place to stop while you are in the Gettysburg area!

Mister Ed's (and Mister ED himself) can also be seen in a locally-filmed movie - "Route 30" - (visit link)
