The chateau is located in the Zruc nad Sazavou in Central Bohemia. It stands in a park on the right bank of the river Sázava.

The chateau is three-winged two-storey building with a square tower at the southeast corner, around the preserved remains of the bastions and walls of the Late Gothic fortifications. There is also a several statues and pavilions in adjacent park.

Zámek stojí v parku na pravém brehu reky Sázavy. Zámek se nachází ve Zruci nad Sázavou na Kutnohorsku ve Stredoceském kraji.

Zámek je trojkrídlá dvoupatrová stavba s hranolovou veží v jihovýchodním nároží, kolem ní se dochovaly zbytky bašt a zdí pozdne gotického opevnení. V parku je umísteno nekolik soch a altány.
