The building at 401 Georgia Street is a two-story brick Italianate style commercial building constructed circa 1880. The building features an elaborate projecting metal window hoods above brick corbeling. The building is topped by a pressed metal cornice. The storefronts have been altered extensively.

The building appears to be in good condition though it appears to be currently vacant.
