The Celtic Cross style Staple War Memorial commemorates 7 men fallen in WW1 and 2 from WW2 and is in the grounds of St James The Great Church, just inside the Lych Gate.

TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN GRATEFUL MEMORY OF THE MEN OF THIS PARISH WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1919
