This stairway winds its way up the west side of Grand View Park. The stairway climbs over a steep, sandy surface, making this the safest and environmentally correct way to access the summit. The bottom of this stairs can be reached by parking along Noriega Street or by climbing the nearby Moraga Street Stairs.

The stairs are made from sturdy wooden planks which are bolted to inclined wooden supports. There is a wooden hand railing on metal supports. There stairs bend and turn through nine sections with a landing at each junction. There are two benches along the way, one of which says "You should turn around" and the other being a dedicated bench.

number of stairs (minimum 60): 144.00

stair landing (check if yes): yes
