Na míste puvodne predmestské usedlosti Švihacka byla v letech 1931 až 1934 postavena ve funkcionalistickém stylu budova restaurace s rozsáhlými terasami a zahrádkou, kde se vecer také tancilo za zvuku živého orchestru. Autorem návrhu je architekt František Marek (1899-1971), žák Josefa Gocára na AVU. Puvodní Štastného restaurace byla po prestavbe nahrazena restaurací Riegrovy sady, které se podle nájemce ríkalo spíše Šretrova.

According to a suburban homestead Švihacka was built from 1931 to 1934 in the Functionalist style. A restaurant with large terraces and a garden where in the evening patrons danced to the sound of a live orchestra. Designed by architect Mark Francis (1899-1971), a pupil of Josef Gocár at the Academy. The original ŠTastný restaurant, after rebuilding, was renamed to Riegrovy sady, which was known by the tenant rather Šretrova.
