This station used to serve several lines that came into Port Dover. Most notably the Lake Huron line which stretches from Brantford through Simcoe and into Port Dover and is now a rail trail. When rail fell out of use in Port Dover in the 1960s the train station was cut in half and moved here as a car wash for a period of time, it is now a Souvenir Shop.
