Long Description:
I noticed one of the umbrellas had Post on it so checked when I got home.
A beautifully maintained building with a date stone of AD 1890. A photograph of it in its heydays shows wording across the front of Moss Vale Post Office 2577 however this has now been painted over very effectively. Moss Vale became a municipality in 1888, so one can appreciate the importance placed upon postal services in that era.
