Mnichovice is a municipality and village in Benešov District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.

Church of Nativity of Virgin Mary
The first Romanesque church was built here in the 1140th. It was later rebuilt in Gothic style.
Mnichovice was affected a big fire in 1746. This fire also impact the church. The church was rebuilt for that reason again - this time in the folk Baroque style.

První románský kostel zde byl postaven v roce 1140. Ten byl pozdeji prestaven na gotický.
Požár Mnichovic v roku 1746 postihl i tento kostel. Kostel byl nove prestaven - tentokrát ve stylu selského baroka.
