An orientation table on the view over the Rheidol valley, a view you can see over for 10 miles from this point to its mouth at Aberystwyth
"The Melindwr valley below you joins the Rheidol valley at Capel Bangor, which then stretches all the way to the sea at Aberystwyth - 10 malies away. Bwlch Nant Yr Arian forest, with its current mix of larch, spruce, Pine, fir and some native broadleaved trees, clads the valley slopes and plateau tops. In the long term, forestry commission wales will gradually change these slopes to native woodland with the ridge tops becoming more open."
