Near mile marker 19.6 from Sacramento on the bike trail.
This location is just downstream from the place many rafters put in. Some kayakers are found here. On the back of the YAR map, during warm weather, are "loaner" life jackets --water safety.

It must have been a challenge to show over 26 miles on a board the size of a picnic table. There is an icon for camping, but between the mt.lion and the homeless folks, I don't think that is approved anymore. I couldn't find one. Fire hazard could be a reason also.
Much of the mid section of the trail is on the south side of the river.
Vehicle chg. is $5 without season pass. Plus #3 for boat launch.
$10 vehicles over 22 ft. and @20/bus (they haul the rafts).

There are 14 public parks on the Parkway. Buy a day pass -- visit as many as you can anage.
