This memorial is bronze plaque on a polished granite block set on a granite base. The text on the plaque reads:
IN HONOR OF
TWO REVOLUTIONARY WAR SOLDIERS
WHO CHOSE SALINE COUNTY, ARKANSAS
AS THEIR HOME. AFTER ENLISTING
IN THE SPRING OF 1777, THEY SERVED
THROUGH THE WINTER AT VALLEY FORGE
AND TO THE END OF THE WAR IN 1783.

The memorial is part of a large exhibit of memorials to veterans of several wars. In the center of the group is a large memorial with panels listing the names of veterans who "gave all" in World War I, World War II, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam war. To the right of this multi-war memorial are monuments memorializing the veterans of the Persian Gulf War and Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation Enduring Freedom. To the left is a monument to Confederate Veterans and to the extreme left is this memorial for Revolutionary War Veterans
U.S. flags fly on either side of the entrance to the memorials. Behind the center memorial is another U.S. flag with an Arkansas State flag flying beneath it. These two are flanked by the flags of the five divisions of armed services and a POW/MIA flag. With a brisk wind blowing the flags stand out in fine array.
