Wantland Hall is located near the southwest corner of the University campus. It is the former gymnasium for the college.
On the southside, near the main entrance, this small garden area is located to the east of the front walk. There is a wood slatted bench standing on brick pavers, as well as a large stone on which a bronze plaque is mounted. The plaque reads:
