Just occasionally you stumble across an area which has a higher than usual concentration of weathervanes. This happened to me on a bike ride recently. Weathervanes started to appear in a little hamlet just south west of the village of Abbots Morton on the road between Flyford Flavell and the B4088 - I think the road is probably called Radford Road - and beyond through Radford and up to Flyford Flavell itself. I made up my mind to come back so made a return trip by bike this time equipped with GPS and camera.
This bird weathervane (apologies - I am not a twitcher and do not want to hazard a guess at what it is!) is the tenth in the "collection" (travelling east to west) but the third one outside of the hamlet. The waypoint is for the gated entrance to the property, not the weathervane itself.
