The 13,6 m high lookout tower on top of the Town Hill was first opened at Easter 1936. At that time, it was run by the municipality. In the 1990s the partly dilapidated lookout tower had to be closed for the public to be reopened in 1999, after reconstruction by a telecommunication company. Currently, the Tower is administered by the municipal technical services. It is opened to the public every day from May to September. For a token entrance fee, every visitor will get a sealed commemorative certificate.

Témer 13,6 metru vysoká rozhledna na Mestské hore byla poprvé otevrena o velikonocních svátcích roku 1936. Provozovalo ji mesto a za návštevu rozhledny vybíralo vstupné, které v té dobe cinilo 50 haléru. Cástecne zchátralá rozhledna byla v devadesátých letech uzavrena. Po rekonstrukci firmou Radiomobil je od roku 1999 opet prístupná verejnosti. V soucasné dobe spravují rozhlednu Technické služby Beroun, s. r. o.. Každý návštevník obdrží za symbolické vstupné pametní list s razítkem.
