Single bars are used for the 'odd' hours and double bars the hours of 3, 6, 9 and 12 on this clock on the offices of the Village of Breton. The clock face is still round and sticks out slightly from the rest of the building. Black hands track the time and the accuracy on this day was within 3 minutes of the National Research Council time signal. Mounted higher on the building allows those passing by an easy view of the time without obstruction of the typical vehicles permitted to park.

During non-daylight hours lighting is provided to allow residents the chance to catch the time...important during the winter season.
