Die Wallfahrtskirche zu Maria Hilf, in der Senke südlich der Burgruine Kronburg gelegen, wurde als Kapelle 1673 errichtet und nach Einlangen zahlreicher Wallfahrtsspenden 1714 bis 1717 erweitert.
1717 entstand die Wallfahrtskirche – derzeit Kaplanei der Pfarre Zams zur Diözese Innsbruck gehörend.
Die Wallsfahrtskirche zeigt sich als schlichter, dreiseitig geschlossener Bau, der sich an der Westseite der Wallfahrtskirche erhebende Turm wurde erst im Jahre 1912 errichtet. Ein Besuch der idyllisch gelegenen Wallfahrtskirche Maria Hilf mit dem Gasthof Kronburg und der Burgruine Kronburg ist entweder mit dem Auto über Schönwies oder auf einem Spazierweg (ca. ½ Stunde) von Rifenal möglich." Through the miraculous cure of a child of Hans Lechleitner, Raimund and Johann Lechleitner of Kronburg Fieger was painting a portrait Mariahilf and build a chapel.

The pilgrimage church of Maria Hilf, in the valley south of the ruins Kronburg was built as a chapel in 1673 and expanded after receiving numerous pilgrimage donations from 1714 to 1717.
1717 was the Sanctuary - currently curate of the parish to the diocese of Innsbruck Zams belonging.
The Sanctuary is shown as a simple, three-sided enclosed building which was located on the west side of the sanctuary uplifting tower built only in 1912.
