The new Fort Henry Interpretive Trail is an out and back trail that follows a little of what remain from the Blue Gray Trail and includes the site of Peyton Furnace and town. Remnants of outer breastworks are visible along this gentle well-cut path as well as some of the old interpretive signs.

This location provides easy access to the interpretive trail and the 30 miles of the Fort Henry Trail System.
